Rob does lots of gigs around the northeast US and southern Ontario. He is willing to fly places too. Most of these gigs are at clubs, cafes, coffeehouses and colleges. All of these words begin with a "C".
But Rob also likes to play places that start with the letter "L" - specifically YOUR LIVING ROOM!
Here's how a LIVING ROOM SHOW usually works - THE HOST (you, or a friend) invites 20-30 people to his/her home on a weekend evening, and brings in the artist in for an "intimate and interactive" type night. THE ARTIST (Rob) gets the "door" (modest cash donations from your guests) and it's BYOB so there really isn't any cost incurred by anyone. Or if you'd rather not ask your guests for donations, you can pay Rob a modest fee for the performance.
After the show,
THE ARTIST, HOST, and AUDIENCE (aka friendly peoples) hang out,
chit chat, share a pint, tell stories, have fun, etc. Merriment
ensues.

QUESTIONS:
Q. I don't know if I can afford to have Rob play in my living room?
A: Rob works cheap for people he likes and who are nice to him. It's MUCH less expensive than you probably think. Rob loves seafood and alcohol and can be enticed into doing shows just like a performing seal.
Q. Do I need any sound equipment or other special stuff for this show?
A. No. Hardly anything is needed. Just a small room, something for Rob to sit on, good vibes from the people hanging out. Rob carries his own small PA system. Sometimes not even that is really needed.
Q. How long is a LIVING ROOM SHOW?
A. This is very flexible. Probably as brief as 1 hour, or as many as 3-4 hours. 2 sets of music at 45 minutes each is probably a good average.
Q. Will Rob play "Brown Eyed Girl" and/or "Margaritaville"?
A. Absolutely not, and please don't ask! But he will play other good songs instead! You will never miss them!
